A rubric is a means of describing a teacher's expectations for a specific assignment. This may be provided to the students prior to beginning the assignment, or after the completion of the assignment so that the student can understand a teacher's grading scale. They can help grade student's work but it can also show the student the areas of improvement that is needed on the assignment or skill that is being graded.

You can make a rubric easily by going to rubistar.com and choosing an activity that corresponds to your lessons. You can use a template or create your own. Once you have filled in the appropriate standards you can publish the rubric, save it to excel or screenshot it and upload it to screencast.
