New to Diigo!

The browser I use is Internet Explorer, which I have been putting off updating to Google Chrome. This browser still works well for me, and I am happy with its results. Tabbed browsing and add-ons have only increased the capability and accessibility of my internet usage.

Expanding your browser's capabilities by using add-ons is a great way to get the most out of your internet experience. Since I enjoy cooking, I would like to describe my personal definition of how add-ons contribute to online experiences. I use my KitchenAid mixer to mix dry and wet ingredients, but when I began purchasing other attachments for the mixer, I could roll pasta dough, make ice cream, attach a food grinder and even strain my vegetables and pasta. These increased my usage and helped my abilities to increase. The browser add-ons I am currently using include bing, my favorites bar, ebay, WebSlice Gallery and Diigolet.
The ISTE indicator that I believe this clearly indicates is Model Digital Age Work and Learning where teachers exhibit knowledge, skills and work processes representative of an innovative professional in a global and digital society. Fluency in technology will continue to be an on-going battle with students as they choose to use the social media technology outlets the most and ignore the best technological advances that may actually help them in their future work places.
