Picasso Self Portrait

Pablo Picasso, a famous artist (he painted, sculpted, printed and did ceramics..) was known for his work during the 20th century. Although some may say he was troubled or strange, I think most artists are. I would never call myself an artist, but I do enjoy sketching and painting every once in a while. I have never done a computer rendition of a sketch, so creating a self portrait on the computer was a little odd to me, but Gallery Picassohead made it a lot of fun!

Whenever the topic turns to art, there is a soft spot in my heart for artists because my paternal grandmother is an artist. Although her health isn't great, she still enjoys her oil paintings and they have been a source of comfort for me over the years. I don't know if I got her love for art, but I love her with all my heart and her paintings will always be a part of my history.

During this self portrait, I have to say I was not as dedicated to this assignment as some of the previous ones. I found it interesting and fun, but I felt like it was an excuse to use the snipping tool. I don't mind having a bit of relief from more serious subjects, so I hope you enjoy seeing my personal rendition of a Picasso portrait!http://www.picassohead.com/
