Jing Image

1. What file types come out of Jing?

PNG is the recommended file type for Jing. The default on the program saves as a PNG to your computer so that the quality remains. The only downside is the file size and with Internet Explorer 6, you may run into difficulty.

2. How/ Where do you save images to your computer?

Jing has a save button located on the sun that saves like any other file to your computer. You click save, choose where to save the image to and it will be accessible.

3. How do you access your Jing History?

 Hold your mouse over the sun icon located on the desktop and choose the option for History.

4. What happens if you screencast an image in your History?

It will immediately share to your Screencast account. The link is copied to your clipboard so that you can share on any social media or email that you choose.

5. How to import Jing objects into your blog post?

  To import Jing objects you use the Add Image button, browse your computer for where it is saved and choose to upload the image. 

6. How do you publish your artifact?

You can publish your artifact by using the share button. Through this you can choose to share in whatever media or outlet you choose.

7. How do you share your artifact with others?

During publishing, you can choose to email to your address book or choose to upload to your social media.
